Today’s weather was gorgeous. When I got up this morning the sun was shining and it looked like it was going to be a sunny day all day. Around 1 o’clock it started to rain. And RAIN and RAIN and RAIN. And then by the time 2 o’clock rolled around, the sun was back out. I was in the Wallingford area and happened to have my camera. As I was walking back to my car, I came across these beautiful tulips in someone’s yard.
I feel like the rain is severely underrated. Think about what good rain brings; growth, life… beauty. While it may be dark when its raining, it is always a beautiful sight after the storm.
I try to keep that perspective in my own life; though times may be hard and difficult, chances are, they’ll make me a better, more beautiful person in the end.
